A Message from President & Lead Instructor

Shaykh Kashif Naseem Dilkusha

When I first envisioned Azaan Institute, it was born out of a problem I could not ignore. At that time, there was no structured platform in Pakistan presenting Islamic knowledge in a way that was both accessible and deeply relevant to people’s lives.

Alhamdulillah, with that challenge in mind, and under the guidance of local and international scholars, I founded Azaan with the dream of reviving the connection of people with the Qur’an and Sunnah in a way that speaks to hearts and transforms lives. This was not by coincidence, but with a clear vision and reliance on Allah.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا Make things easy and do not make them difficult. Give glad tidings and do not drive people away.
(Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

By keeping these words at heart, Azaan found its purpose: to open doors with mercy, not close them with harshness. What started as “I” became “we,” with students, teachers, volunteers, and seekers from across cities and communities joining together onsite and online, in courses, conferences, and circles, yearning for a deeper bond with their Creator.

Along the way, Alhamdulillah, other institutes were born; taking inspiration from Azaan’s vision and spirit, and carrying forward the same mission of spreading knowledge and transforming lives. This ripple effect is a reminder that when knowledge is shared with sincerity, it multiplies and inspires beyond boundaries.

My vision for Azaan Institute is to be more than an institute: a legacy of knowledge, character, and service that shapes generations long after us. A legacy that makes Islamic knowledge not just information, but transformation; calling people back to Allah as He commands:

ادْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ

(Surah an-Nahl 16:125)

And so, my naseeha to the ummah is: “Hold on to the Qur’an and Sunnah. They are your anchor in chaos, your compass in confusion, and your light in every darkness. Everything else will fade, but the guidance of Allah will never fail you.”

I pray Allah accepts this effort as sadaqah jariyah, blesses every hand and heart that has contributed, and allows Azaan Institute to always remain a beacon of guidance and excellence.

Ameen
